The course curriculum includes teaching techniques that necessitate approval, as well as those that are prohibited for use by paid professionals. Students will gain knowledge about the rights of individuals with developmental disabilities and learn how to facilitate the expression of these rights. Additionally, the course will provide strategies for offering positive support when teaching new skills. Participants will also be introduced to behavior plans, including their purpose and application.
